Keeping your personal data private is very important to us, so we have kept the collection of personal information to an absolute minimum. Hence, we do not offer commenting or registration to our blog to prevent the possibility of a data breach.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT
LOG DATA
Whenever you visit the Nathiverse, your browser automatically sends us information without needing your permission. This information is collected by any website you may visit, regardless of your privacy settings. This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, data concerning your software (e.g. your operating system) and hardware (e.g. your CPU), the browser you are using, and its version. Information, such as, where you connect to our site from, your operating system, or browser name and version will be obtained for analytics by our Site Host, Ionos.
You can prevent the collection of some of this data by downloading a Virtual Protection Network (VPN) or anonymity software.
CONTACT FORM
Our contact plugin does not store your information. The data is stored, however, on our mail servers. We do not keep this data for any other purpose than for correspondence with you. We clear all mail received via the contact form plugin every month.
COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
EMBEDDED CONTENT
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

HOW WILL WE USE YOUR DATA & FOR HOW LONG?
LOG DATA
Log data is used by our website host to provide site analytics for the website administrator’s benefit. This information may be used for improving our social media strategy or for general website improvements. None of the log data provided in the analytics is personally identifiable.
Your Internet Protocol address may be used by our anti-spam software, which compares it to a local spam database. Our anti-spam software does not store this information. This plugin is utilised by the Nathiverse to minimise disruptive or harmful emails, which can affect our response times or lead to a data breach.
CONTACT FORM
We will not use your contact information for anything other than communicating with you. This information can only be accessed by the website administrator. We shall not share your information with third parties for any purpose. Our mail account is accessed by the website administrator. No one else is authorised to view this account.
Emails sent via the contact form are deleted a month after the completion of communication. They are kept for this period to ensure there is a reference, should communication suddenly be resumed again.
COMMENTS
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA
Information sent via the contact form is stored on our mail server with our Site Host, Ionos, and is forwarded to our Gmail. Your emails may be subject to further data processing out of our control through these sites. Before you use the contact form, you should read the Ionos and Google privacy policies.
THE CONSENT YOU GIVE
According to Article 9 of the Data Protection Act 2018, visitors under the age of 13 must have permission from a parent/guardian before giving their consent. Should it be revealed to us that this permission was not granted, we shall end all communication with the visitor and delete all emails immediately (if any) received from the person in question.
Your contact information will only be used for the purpose of contacting you. Information will be shared with the relevant authority if the content of our correspondence is unlawful. Any other processing not declared in this privacy policy will only be carried out with explicit permission from the data subject.

The Nathiverse contains links to other websites. This privacy policy is only valid for http://nathiverse.com and http://nathiverse.co.uk. If you decide to click on our hyperlinks, you should read the relevant privacy policy for that linked site.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
The Nathiverse will review its privacy policy annually. This privacy policy was first put in force on the 2 June, 2020. It was last updated on the 3 June, 2021.

We have constructed our Privacy Policy to the best of our knowledge on GDPR and how our website operates. We request that we are notified of any omissions or errors in our policy.
